Great look. Stone pings on the front. Wear and chips at the rim. There is a tight T-shaped horizontal hairline around the base on the back up from the bottom. The piece probably took an insert lid.

matching accent band. The band on each has an applied delicate oakleaf relied
decoration in a Wedgwood style or technique. The teapot has a matching
finial lid and an elongated handle and spout, typical of very early Yellowware.
Some applied band design missing and there is a thru line in the handle. Chip
at the rim near the handle. Some chips in the rim and finial of the matching
lid. Roughness at the tip of the spout. 6" X 9". The sugar has applied lion
heads. Some interior roughness at the rim. 3". The creamer has a few glaze
flecks at the extended spout and a chip in the bottom. 3 1/2". All have minor
staining and age crazing. Probably English origin. |
