$5,000 Unsigned extraordinary approximate 5 gallon ovoid crock.

Sharply and skillfully incised design depicts birds in a flower tree. Attention to detail and shading are very evident in this wonderful display of artistry. If that is not enough, on the back is an equally executed design of Germanic style tulips. The characteristics seen in this decoration are very similar to a signed William Farrar Geddes, NY jug in the Onondaga Historical Society Collection.

Additional blue accents under the ears. This piece is from a New York estate and never offered for public sale. There is some old age spidering below the flower design. Clay separation that occurred in the making on the very bottom.
