The first: Unsigned approximate 1/2 gallon pipkin with stoneware lid, not original. There is a minor spider line up from the bottom on one side. 7" tall. 1870.

The second: LYONS approximate 1 gallon syrup jug in a brown Albany glaze. Slightly darker glaze accents the middle all the way around. Some surface chipping at the spout. 10 1/2" 1870.

The first: Stoneware molded flower pot in a relief cattail design. Drain dish attached. Applied brown alkaline glaze. Excellent. 4 1/2" 1870.

The second: Rockingham bowl with a impressed wheat shaft design in the bottom of the bowl and a draped design at the interior rim. Probably Ohio origin. Excellent. 2 3/4" tall. 9" diam.

The first: Approximate 1 gallon batter pail with original bale handle finished in a white Bristol glaze. Some age crazing to the glaze and stained from use. 9 1/2"

The second: Approximate 1/2 gallon ovoid crock in a nice brown mottled glaze. Excellent. 6" 1880

The first: Approximate 1/2 gallon open handled ovoid crock with blue decoration. Probably German origin. Surface chipping at the rim. 6".

The second: Stoneware bottle with an early leather strap handle. There are some old, worn smooth chips at the base. 12 1/2". 1880

The first: Stoneware inkwell with some age chips and cracks throughout. 3 3/4" diam.

The second: Hand thrown cream pitcher. Minor chipping at the rim. 3 1/4".

The third: Stoneware pipe bowl in a molded ribbed design. Excellent. All date mid to late 19th century.

The first: Open handled, redware in a nice orange alkaline glaze. Hairline extending down from the rim on one side could have occurred in the making. 4" tall. 1830.

The second: Earthenware bowl in an applied brown glaze. Some chipping at the ears and rim. Stained from use. 3" tall. 1850.

The third: Redware in an applied light blue alkaline glaze. Incised line and petal design around the midsection. Excellent. Age difficult to determine. 2 1/2".

The first: Miniature banded mug with "Bruderliebe" at the center. There is a hairline at the rim. 2" tall.

The second: A rare cup plate in a relief star pattern.

The first: Salt glaze with Relief and blue accented profile on one side and a framed German verse on the opposite. Mold mark # 43 on the bottom. 7".

The second: Bristol glaze with a Relief and blue accented tavern scene on one side and a framed German verse on the opposite. Mold mark # 35 on the bottom. 6 1/2".

Both are excellent.

The first: Relief and blue framed German verse front with relief knights on either side. 5"

The first: Salt glaze with Relief and blue accented bearded man on one side with vines on the opposite side. Rare two color. The accent bands are blue while the remainder of the design is in green. 9".

The second: Bristol glaze Relief and blue accented men toasting on either side. Mold mark # 38 on the bottom. There is a clay separation on the bottom that occurred in making. 10"
