$7,500 Salt glaze stoneware railroad pig flask. The left side is scribed, "Ohio River/St. Louis the future Great/Railroad and River Guide/With a little Good Old Rye in a Hogs/By/Anna Pottery/1882".

The right side has a railroad map which includes the towns of Bloomington, Springfield, Alton/Chester, Grandtourgi, Jonesboro, Cairo, Anna, Gordondale, Duquoin, Tamaroa, Odin. The bottom is scribed "Mounds, Vinggus, Cincinnati the Pork City, Chicago the Corn City".

Excellent condition. 7" long 3 1/2" tall 1882

$200 THE BODINE CRUCIBLE COFFEE POT. Rarely seen with the original label in place. Label reads, "MUSKINGUM POTTERY COMPANY ZANESVILLE OHIO." A rare utilitarian American form combining the skills of a potter and tinsmith.

There is a very minor chip at the rim and an old hairline on the right side. Some staining from use. 8" 1880.

$200 Stoneware pedestal form 4 hole inkwell. Ochre dots accents all around the rim. What makes this piece special is the paper label on the bottom dated 7/20/46. "INK WILL FROM/MR. ABBOT/YARDVILLE/PAID $5". Probably a high price in the day.

Minor old age line on one side and some very old chips in the bottom. 3 1/2" diam 1830.

The second: LYONS approximate 1 gallon syrup jug in a brown Albany glaze. Slightly darker glaze accents the middle all the way around. Some surface chipping at the spout. 10 1/2" 1870.

The second: Rockingham bowl with a impressed wheat shaft design in the bottom of the bowl and a draped design at the interior rim. Probably Ohio origin. Excellent. 2 3/4" tall. 9" diam.

The first: Stoneware inkwell with some age chips and cracks throughout. 3 3/4" diam.

The second: Hand thrown cream pitcher. Minor chipping at the rim. 3 1/4".

The third: Stoneware pipe bowl in a molded ribbed design. Excellent. All date mid to late 19th century.

The first: Open handled, redware in a nice orange alkaline glaze. Hairline extending down from the rim on one side could have occurred in the making. 4" tall. 1830.

The second: Earthenware bowl in an applied brown glaze. Some chipping at the ears and rim. Stained from use. 3" tall. 1850.

The third: Redware in an applied light blue alkaline glaze. Incised line and petal design around the midsection. Excellent. Age difficult to determine. 2 1/2".

$350 Oversized salt glazed match safe. Deeply Impressed at the base, "Crystal Spring Brewing Co." - repeated twice. In smaller letters is, "Syracuse, N.Y." Above that, on one side, the piece is impressed, "Crystal" and the opposite side, "Lager".

All of course blue accented. Additional blue accent bands at the top.

Excellent. 4 3/4"

The second: Has a hairline at the rim and a large chip on the bottom. Mold mark # 25 on the bottom. 5"

Both are excellent.
