Looks like another beautiful weekend. I think it's Buffalo Bills at Tennessee Titans this weekend. I am predicting a win. For Buffalo. I don't think T.O. will be playing. Something about a hurt hip.

For anyone that cares, I DID stay warm during the Bills Game last night. It was quite exhausting though. We stood for the entire game. Through all 4 Buffalo turnovers, and right to the bitter "WIDE RIGHT" finish. Please send your condolences as I have declared the Bills officially dead.

It's a very rainy day here in beautiful Clarence, NY - suburb of Buffalo. I heard that lake effect snow is in the forecast. That does not bode well from my Monday night plans. The Bills are playing the Browns and we have tickets. Ralph Wilson Stadium could become snow covered. If you have never been to an NFL game you just can't imagine what it will be like if it snows during the game. Hey, it's Buffalo. We will be prepared!

Grandbaby update. Her name is (now get this, we didn't even have any input) Remi Lyn. Yes, I know it's not spelled the same, but come on! Remi - how cute. Any grandbabies named Bennington out there?

It's rainy here in Buffalo, but at least we are not facing Ike. We may have some residual rain next week, but nothing like the gulf coast is facing.

And for stoneware, the online current bid page was just updated with the changes from yesterday. There are almost 2 weeks to go before the end of the bidding so everyone has plenty of time to bid. If you want to come and view the items in person you can schedule an appointment. We are not available for appointments on the final 2 days of bidding. The is Friday the 19th and Saturday the 20th. Just too many phone calls and too busy to assist with the viewing.

We do ask that you please call with any questions PRIOR to the last day of bidding. It is very difficult to answer condition, decoration or any detailed question on the final day and we do want to be fair to all bidder questions and give you the amount of time you need to have your questions answered completely.

The current bid page was just updated. If you are in the Eastern States, it looks like a good day to browse the auction site and photos. Things are starting to get interesting with the auction and we will be busy with calls such today.

We are also looking at several collections this weekend so you just never know what will be happening next. We heard reports from Brimfield that things were pretty bleak for stoneware buyers so lets hope we can fill the need for some of you collectors.

This is off the stoneware subject but it seems that only a few years ago I announced the arrival of our first grandbaby. Today I announce the birth of our SEVENTH! AND this one is only our second granddaughter. The only unfortunate thing is that she is in Seattle.

Ok, back to stoneware. I'm still working on adding the photos. Current bids will be online mid-next week.

Just to clear any confusion, the November catalog will be mailed the END OF OCTOBER. It is not included in the SEPTEMBER mailing.

You can call or email, but just remember, if you want Bruce, you will be best to call. He doesn't check email and if I'm not available, you won't get an answer right away. Bruce is still and always will be a phone guy I guess.
